WILLEMSTAD – The elections for Reina, Prins and Pancho for Carnival 2026 will take place on Sunday, January 11, at the World Trade Center Curaçao. All categories will compete on the same day, according to the event organizers.
The program will begin in the morning with the youth elections. From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., candidates will compete for the titles of Reina, Prins and Pancho Hubenil. The winners will serve as the youth ambassadors of Carnival 2026.
The evening program continues with the Duo Tiener elections, followed by the selection of Reina, Prins and Pancho Grandi. These contests will run from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., bringing two full election rounds together in a single day.
Several prizes will be awarded during the elections, including a trip to Summer Carnival, a scooter, an iPhone 17, and other prizes. The event is expected to draw a large audience as excitement builds toward Carnival 2026.
