WILLEMSTAD — Participants in the upcoming Carnival elections for Queen, Prince and Pancho — in the children’s, teen duo and adult categories — officially presented their carnival costumes ahead of the main event scheduled for January 11, 2026.

The presentations took place before a jury consisting of six individuals widely recognized within the Carnival community, who were tasked with evaluating the creativity and craftsmanship of the designs.

According to organizers, the presentation proceeded in an enthusiastic and well-organized manner, with all activities running smoothly and on schedule. This reflected the guiding principle of Beehives, which emphasizes punctuality under the motto “Ban na ora” (“Let’s be on time”).

On behalf of Beehives and the IBFF, the organizers expressed their appreciation to all participants for their dedication, creativity and hard work. They wished each candidate continued success as they prepare for the final Carnival elections on January 11, 2026.

The costume presentations mark an important milestone in the lead-up to Carnival, offering the public and jury an early glimpse of the artistry and passion that define Curaçao’s Carnival tradition.
