Participants for Tumba Hubenil 2026 Presented at Hato Caves

WILLEMSTAD – On Tuesday, December 16, the official presentation of participants for Tumba Hubenil 2026 took place in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The event was organized by Boldstarz, under the umbrella of Beehives Curaçao, and marked the start of the countdown to the popular youth tumba festival.

As in previous years, the presentation was held in a creative setting at the Hato Caves, where each participant selected their performance number by drawing it from a pole. The theme for Tumba Hubenil 2026 was also revealed and is titled “The Hidden World.”

The Tumba Hubenil 2026 Festival will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Curaçao Festival Center.

Participants and Orchestra

A total of 13 participants will compete in this year’s edition. For the third consecutive year, they will be accompanied by the Tumba Hubenil Orchestra, under the musical direction of Nadienne Martina.

The participants are:

Youth Queen, Prince and Pancho Selection Toast

The evening also featured a ceremonial toast for the youngest contestants participating in the Youth Queen, Prince, and Pancho competition.

Youth Queen Toast Results:

  • Winner: Atalialove Cornelio (Participant No. 1)
  • First Runner-Up: Quiyarah Albertoe (Participant No. 2)
  • Second Runner-Up: Jen-Naöxa Payne (Participant No. 3)

Youth Prince and Pancho Toast Results:

  • Winners: Trayvon Boutisma & Marion Profas (Duo No. 1)
  • First Runner-Up: Giandro Sanchez & Naishel Hansen (Duo No. 2)

The presentation marked an important milestone for the young performers as they prepare to take the stage in one of Curaçao’s most celebrated cultural youth events.
