WILLEMSTAD - The government is releasing more than 10 million guilders for the maintenance of existing roads and the construction of new roads.
This is despite the poor financial situation of the country. The majority of the funds will be spent on large-scale renovation.
The Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning announced this last Friday. The purpose of the investment is to make the roads safer.
