WILLEMSTAD - Last Saturday, the CliniClowns Jubilee FUN(d)raising Open golf tournament was played at the Curacao Golf & Sports Club in Emmastad. Over 20 (company) teams participated in this joyful golf competition, all in honor of the 15th anniversary of CliniClowns Curaçao this year. A total of ANG 20,000 was raised, which the foundation is very happy and grateful for. "Teamwork makes the smile work" is something we believe in enormously, and today it has been proven once again, said Eveline van Zanen of the CliniClowns foundation. It was a very positive day, where participants could also witness the effect of the presence of a CliniClown with their own eyes. Full of energy and confidence, we look forward to the next 15 years of CliniClowns Curaçao.

Distraction, fun, and relaxation are not words that you associate with a hospital stay or the disease dementia. But that's exactly what the specially trained CliniClowns provide in difficult situations such as sick or disabled children and people with dementia. Attention to the person behind the illness or disability; to feel seen and understood, and to be able to stand in their own strength. For example, just being able to be a child (again) for a while or being lifted out of isolation and confusion.
