WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1253 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, only 16 of them resulted positive. 48 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 414.
According to the epidemiology department, no imported cases have been detected. After more investigation, it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 34 cases are in the hospital. 17 COVID-related cases are in the ICU.
