WILLEMSTAD - A 16-year-old girl has been missing since the end of January. According to the police, the girl was under surveillance and ran away from home.
The 16-year-old Susette Perez Martines was in the Judicial Juvenile Institution Curaçao (JJIC) and was on leave with her parents on Saturday, January 30. Susette escaped from her parents' house in Saliña around 5 p.m.
Since then, the girl has not returned to her parents' home or the JJIC. Why she was under surveillance is unknown.
Susette had a wave with long braids at the time of her escape. She has medium skin, brown eyes and brown hair.
