WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2911 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 181 of them were positive. 22 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 462.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 19 imported cases.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 11 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 5 patients are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 2 persons have died. One in the hospital and the other at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 186.
