WILLEMSTAD - During the 65th clean-up of the Kunuku Man, Playa Jeremi, Klein Knip and Grote Knip were freed from 169 kilos of waste.
The waste consisted of 108 kilos of glass, 10 kilos of plastic bottles, 8 kilos of aluminum cans and 72 kilos of residual waste. Not all places were very polluted, however. “Both the beach, the parking lot and both sides of the approach route were neatly clean,” the Kunuku Man posted on his Facebook page.
The Kunuku Man represents a cleaner island. “Stop this throwaway behavior and clean up your mess properly, okay?” said the Kunuku Man.
