WILLEMSTAD - In the period from July 22 to November 8, 218 corona patients were admitted to the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC). Of these, 202 were not vaccinated.
Only five hospitalized patients were fully vaccinated. Five patients had only had the first injection. One person became infected within two weeks of the second vaccination. Four people were fully vaccinated but are not fully protected against the virus due to problems with their immune system.
One patient who was hospitalized has had the Janssen vaccine. This patient was flown in from Bonaire.
