WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2271 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 231 of them were positive. 1697 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 3232.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 25 imported cases.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 51 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 13 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 5 patients have died in the hospital.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 221.
