WILLEMSTAD - The police in Curaçao have arrested a 28-year-old man. He is said to have fired shots at the Lijnbaan in the center of Rotterdam last year. On April 28, 2018, shoppers started to panic because two bullets were fired.
During his arrest in Curaçao, the man had a firearm with him. The Public Prosecution Service in Rotterdam announced yesterday that a suspect has been arrested. He was handed over to the Netherlands a week ago. His role is still being investigated. His pre-trial detention has been extended by thirty days.
