WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1859 people who were tested on August 22 for the COVID-19 virus, 37 of them resulted positive. 58 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections was 538.
According to the epidemiology department, no cases are imported.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 35 cases are in the hospital. 19 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital.
