WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1886 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 37 of them were positive. 13 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 188.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 8 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 6 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 1 patient is in the ICU.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 183.
