WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1676 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, only 38 of them resulted positive. 47 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 402.
According to the epidemiology department, 2 imported cases have been detected. After more investigation, it became known that 2 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 31 cases are in the hospital. 17 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died at home.
