WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1923 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 41 of them were positive. 11 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 165.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 11 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 2 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 6 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 1 patient is in the ICU. Unfortunately, one patient died in the ICU.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 183.
