WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2590 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 427 of them were positive. 828 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 11,562.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 42 imported cases. After more investigation it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 54 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 13 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 207.
