WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1539 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 45 of them were positive. 100 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 1216.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 19 imported cases.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 17 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 10 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 patient has died at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 247.
