WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1941 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 47 of them resulted positive. 53 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 323.
According to the epidemiology department, 3 imported cases were detected. After more investigation it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 36 cases are in the hospital. 14 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 2 COVID patients have died. 1 in the hospital and 1 at home.
