WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1807 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 48 of them resulted positive. 73 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 492.
According to the epidemiology department, 7 cases are imported. After more investigation, it became known that 2 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 37 cases are in the hospital. 20 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital. Total death since the beginning of the pandemic is now 140.
