WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 3455 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 511 of them were positive. 122 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 2726.
According to the epidemiology department, there were at least 21 imported cases.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 12 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 8 patients are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 2 persons have died, 1 at a nursing home and 1 at the hospital.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 189.
