WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2932 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 519 of them were positive. 208 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 11,871.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 24 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 54 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 15 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 208.
