WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1739 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 52 of them were positive. 55 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 419.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 7 imported cases. After more investigation it became known that 2 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 8 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 4 of them are in the ICU.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 261.
