WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 448 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 52 of them were positive. 27 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 336.
After more investigation it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 9 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 4 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 2 persons have died, 1 in the hospital, and 1 at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 264.
