WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2000 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 53 of them resulted positive. 48 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 636.
According to the epidemiology department, no imported cases were detected. After more investigation, it became known that 3 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 36 cases are in the hospital. 14 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital.
