WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 3531 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 555 of them were positive. 74 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 2338.
According to the epidemiology department, there were at least 45 imported cases. After more investigation it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 11 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 8 patients are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 187.
