WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Lions Club is organizing the Bon Bisiña project for the 55th time this month. The organization will collect as much food as possible at various points this weekend.
This weekend the Lions will be at Van den Tweel Supermarket Zeelandia, where sustainable food and money can be donated. Various schools and other companies have also received information about the fundraising campaign.
According to the Lions, the corona crisis has put many people in a dire financial position. Especially around the holidays, the club wants to pay extra attention to combating poverty on the island.
