WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 573 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 66 of them were positive. 41 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 313.
According to the epidemiology department, no imported cases have been detected.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 9 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 5 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 262.
