WILLEMSTAD - The Spatial Development and Planning Department (ROP) has issued a total of 713 building permits in 2021. The department received over 1.6 million guilders in fees for this.
Whether this is more or less than in 2020 is not reported by the Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP).
VVRP minister Charles Cooper is in any case happy with this result. The rapid issuance of permits is to the advantage of citizens who want to build and of the state treasury.
ROP continued to work energetically in January as well. ROP has issued 62 building permits in the first month of 2022.
