WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2251 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 85 of them resulted positive. 76 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 621.
According to the epidemiology department, 5 cases are imported. After more investigation it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 37 cases are in the hospital. 14 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital.
