WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 916 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 9 of them resulted positive. 22 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections was 100.
According to the epidemiology department, 1 imported case was detected.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 11 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 3 of them are in the ICU. One hospitalized patient is from Bonaire. Unfortunately, 1 patient has died in a nursing home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is now 175.
