WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2209 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 95 of them were positive. 143 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 1142.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 18 imported cases.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 10 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 7 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 4 patients have died, 2 in the hospital, 1 at home, and 1 at a nursing home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 253.
