ABC Bus Company Receives Eight New Buses as Part of Fleet Renewal

WILLEMSTAD – Autobusbedrijf Curaçao (ABC) has received eight new buses as part of its ongoing fleet renewal program, marking another step toward strengthening public transportation on the island.

During the official handover of the buses on December 9, Minister of Justice Shalten Hato, standing in for Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper, said that Minister Cooper was pleased that the long-awaited buses had finally arrived.

Minister Hato emphasized that the purchase goes beyond investing in vehicles alone. “This is an investment in the quality of life of our people,” he stated. “Each bus represents more comfort for passengers, more efficient operations, and above all, a service that inspires confidence in ABC Bus Company.”

According to ABC, the arrival of the eight new buses reflects positive progress in efforts to modernize and reinforce public transportation in Curaçao. The company expressed pride in the expansion of its fleet, noting that the new additions contribute to improving reliability, comfort, and overall service for daily commuters.
