WILLEMSTAD, BOGOTA - Mayor Aboutaleb of Rotterdam is in to Curaçao and Colombia for a working from 21 to 30 September.
Rotterdam is the home city of 22,000 Curaçaoans, which means that the Dutch city has an important connection with the island, according to the municipality. Cooperation is already taking place in the areas of education, security and economic development.
In Curaçao, the mayor will speak with local government officials and security partners such as the Public Prosecution Service and the police.
In Colombia, Aboutaleb talks to fellow mayors about tackling drug crime.
