WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao government will take measures so that tourists from the United States can also enjoy the nightlife. Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas announced this during a press conference on Thursday.
According to Pisas, Curaçao cannot afford to be blacklisted. Vaccinated Americans can now also enter high-risk events with valid ID, a Passenger Locator Card (PLC), and proof of vaccination.
“The crisis team is working on giving international visitors access to high-risk activities as well. A new system is being introduced," said the prime minister. Tourists must register at the airport after which they will receive a QR code. The new system will come into effect on December 1.
