WILLEMSTAD - 223 new corona infections in one day and several deaths from covid19 in just a few days. Never before did the virus hit Curaçao so hard then these few last days.
The Netherlands comes to the aid of the island with extra care personnel.
There are currently 68 Covid patients in the hospital, 19 of whom are in Intensive Care. The Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) has a maximum of twenty places there. The situation is also worrying in Aruba and Bonaire.
