WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is now also going to vaccinate 16 to 18-year-olds in risk groups. This was announced by the medical director of the vaccination process in Curaçao Dr. Jerry Semper.
This depends on the availability of the Pfizer vaccine on the island after all adults have been vaccinated. It then concerns young people who are obese or diabetic, for example.
The Moderna vaccine would also offer a solution, but that vaccine has not yet been approved to be used for that age in Curaçao.
