WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao baseball player Andruw Jones is ready to convert the site of the Little League Ballpark in Muizenberg into an extensive baseball park. The ARBJ Foundation founded by Jones signed an agreement yesterday with the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Zita Jesus-Leito and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Steven Croes. Jones has been around for some time with plans to build a baseball park, but now the time has finally come. The intention is that construction can start within four months.

The baseball park will be open to all ages, from the youngest of the Little League to the AA-class baseball players. The aim is to give baseball in Curaçao a quality impulse. According to Jones, it took a long time before signatures could be placed under such an important document because he wanted to arrange everything as well as possible. As a result, according to him, the park can now be started quickly.
