WILLEMSTAD - The Social Insurance Bank (SVB) and the pharmacists’ organization reached an agreement on a heated discussion about a new price list for medicines.
According to SVB director Philip Martis, both parties came out after a long meeting at the end of last week. The agreement was also signed the following day. According to Martis, the agreement is good for patients. They do not have to pay extra for their medicines.
The details of the deal will be announced soon, according to Martis. But he said that he was pleased that the dissatisfaction among pharmacists and importers of medicines has been resolved.
