WILLEMSTAD, KRALENDIJK - As of June 12, 2020, the borders for passengers’ traffic between Curaçao and Bonaire has been restored. This is possible due to the mutual agreement between the governments of the 4 countries that form the Dutch Kingdom. There are no restrictions anymore. Flights and tourists from the Netherlands and West Europe are also welcome and are free to travel.
Local operators are free to restore their scheduled flights. We will be monitoring the definite schedule of Aruba Airlines, Divi Divi Air, Eco Air, EZAir, Jetair, Winair, and KLM. KLM is the first one to announce their new start-up schedule. Curaçao still have a NOTAM in place which is valid up to June 16. Despite this NOTAM, the authority of Curaçao issued an exemption for operators that desire to start flying before June 16th.
