WILLEMSTAD - State Secretary for Kingdom Relations Alexandra van Huffelen is once again visiting Curaçao, Aruba and Sint Maarten. Van Huffelen is on the islands from Monday to Friday and will visit residents, business owners and volunteers from social organizations.
The State Secretary focuses on meeting people who live on the islands. “We are there as administrators for them and not the other way around. In concrete terms, this means that I don't just want to talk to politicians. I would like to personally meet residents and civil society organizations to hear about their dreams and concerns.”
On May 25, the State Secretary will be a guest speaker in Curaçao during a business breakfast of the Curaçao Business Association (VBC). During this breakfast, Van Huffelen will have the opportunity to present her vision on the current and future development of the island.
