WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) confirms that all results of the Covid19 tests that have been administered are negative. Only one CMC staff member, the specialist previously communicated about, has tested positive. Since late last week, the CMC has contacted all staff and patients who have had close contact with the relevant specialist and have all subsequently been tested for Covid-19.
Although the tests are negative, these individuals should still be quarantined for 14 days, with the exception of personnel categorized as essential to provide necessary care.
These individuals come to CMC to perform essential work, but should take into account the strict protection protocol (including mouth mask and gloves, social distance and hand hygiene) against Covid-19.
