KRALENDIJK - Business owners on Bonaire can receive a corona allowance from the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the Netherlands.
The allowance is a one-time $ 4400 and intended for business owners who can demonstrate at least this amount of loss of turnover. They must also prove they have at least $ 4,400 in fixed expenses. Fixed costs include, for example, costs for commercial premises, insurance, and financing.
Taxes, employer contributions and wage costs are not counted as fixed costs. For wage costs, an appeal can be made to the emergency scheme of Social Affairs in The Hague.
