WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath received no response from the Klesch Group yesterday.
The Curaçao government wanted to get clarity about Klesch's intentions with the oil refinery. But according to Rhuggenaath, there was no response to that request. He did not want to discuss what this means for the relationship with the company.
As is known, Klesch and Curaçao have been negotiating for months about the takeover of the refinery, but there is no agreement yet and there is insufficient clarity about Klesch's plans.
