WILLEMSTAD - The US Consulate has called on Americans on Curacao to avoid Mambo Beach at certain times due to a growing number of incidents there. In a security alert, they warn after 9 pm not to visit the place or to attend major events. It is also advised not to leave valuables in cars.
According to the consulate, more and more tourists and Americans are victims of robberies or violence during a visit to the area.
