WILLEMSTAD - The American warship USS Billings entered the port of Curaçao yesterday morning and is located at the Matheywerf in Sint Annabaai. The ship is on Curaçao for the first time and comes here to refuel, to stock up on provisions and to give the crew the opportunity to disembark and stretch their legs a bit.
The USS Billings is a so-called 'Freedom Class' Combat Ship and can take 125 men on board. Her home base is Mayport, Florida.
