CHICAGO - The Chicago Cubs no longer need baseball player Andrelton Simmons. The Curaçao born player will no longer be scheduled to play. In March he signed a contract with the club. He was unable to play for much of the time due to a shoulder injury. It looks like Simmons is looking for a new club.
The Curaçaoan has been a fixture in the Major League for years. Simmons was drafted in 2010 by the Atlanta Braves, where he competed at the highest level from 2012 to 2015. He then also played for Los Angeles Angels and Minnesota Twins.
