WILLEMSTAD - There is anger about a fence under construction on the beach of Parasassa which is next to the Marriot Resort.
Some fishermen, beachgoers and opposition politicians fear that public beach will be wrongly closed and blame the government.
It is not clear who wanted to place the fence and why. The adjacent Marriott Hotel is still busy renovating, but does not want to respond to the matter.
