ORANJESTAD - On Monday, the number of infections in Aruba fell briefly, but since then the corona virus has been on the rise again. Yesterday another 81 people tested positive.
In total, the counter now stands at almost 800, of which 681 are active infections. Four patients are now in the hospital, one of them, a 29-year old man is in intensive care. But all other infected patients are doing well.
According to Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, the outbreak is the result of not properly following social rules such as distance and hygiene.
