WILLEMSTAD - The court in Curaçao recently determined that between January 11 and 18 next year, the appeal case of the former minister George Jamaloodin will be heard.
Jamaloodin was previously sentenced to 28 years in prison, including for his involvement in the murder of politician and Member of Parliament Helmin Wiels in 2013.
The defense wants many witnesses to be heard for the appeal and additional investigations to be carried out. It is still unclear how many additional witnesses will be heard.
